Snowman Cracker Snacks Recipe
Did you enjoy eating cute food as a kid? Heck, I’ll admit I sometimes still even do as an adult. 😉 As a child, I just loved being able to turn my food into artwork and took great pride in enjoying my masterpiece after it was done – even if it was chock-full of veggies.
I was pondering a kid-friendly snack with a wintertime theme that wasn’t full of sugar and candy. I ended up being inspired by the huge block of cream cheese in my fridge and box of Ritz in my pantry, thanks to a recent trip to Costco and a snowman came to mind. I love that this snowman can be made even if there isn’t any snow and where it’s nice and warm inside without fear of melting. Kids of all ages can easily put this together with a small amount of prep work from an adult.
You can customize this recipe to your or your child’s liking, of course. Substitute grapes instead of raisins, bread sticks instead of pretzels, chocolate grahams instead of a chocolate bar, cold cuts instead of an apple peel, just for a few ideas.
