As I have gushed recently, I was sent a Cuisinart 14-cup food processor to review from BuyDig.com and I have been thinking of various ways to use it that aren’t your every day recipes. I find one thing many people don’t realize about food processors is that they can actually be used as you would a stand mixer, and generally include a dough blade. Because of this, food processors can often be a more money savvy investment due to the variety of tasks they can get done quickly and efficiently, unless of course you bake tons of cookies and bread, etc.
So, thinking of a way to use the dough blade and being a Southern girl, my brain automatically went to biscuits of course! Now, usually I make biscuits with just my hands as I don’t mind being hands on when cooking, but there are just some days you need to get dinner on the table and don’t want to get your hands messy. Food processor biscuits are perfect for these days! They can also make a better biscuit since the ingredients won’t warm up as quickly, which is especially needed on warm days. I made a double batch to store for the next few days, likely with some to freeze for a quick breakfast some busy morning. I also made them on the small side today as I don’t feel as bad about letting myself have 2 biscuits when they are on the small side. 😉

I received a 14-cup Cuisinart Food Processor from BuyDig.com in exchange for my honest review. All words are my own and no other compensation was received.
